Articulate Storyline Accessibility Statement

At Cornerstone Healthcare Training, we are committed to providing a learning experience that is accessible to all. We strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards and have built our courses with Articulate Storyline 360 to ensure all learners can fully engage with our content.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive regardless of ability. To achieve this, our courses include the following features:

Screen Reader Compatibility: Courses are designed to work with popular screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, Narrator, VoiceOver, and TalkBack in supported browsers, enabling learners to easily access and navigate course content.

Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements and navigation can be accessed and controlled using only a keyboard, allowing learners with motor access needs to fully participate.

Closed Captions and Transcripts: Audio and video content include closed captions for learners who are deaf or hard of hearing, those in noisy environments, or those who prefer reading over listening. Transcripts are also available as a text-based alternative for all learners.

Alternative Text (Alt Text): Images and other meaningful visual content include alt text, providing descriptive information for learners who are blind or have low vision, and use screen readers.

Accessible Text: Learners can enable accessible text in the course settings, allowing them to personalize the size and style of the text using custom stylesheets or browser extensions according to their needs.

Clear Instructions and Feedback: Instructions and feedback for quizzes and other activities are clear, concise, and prominently displayed, benefiting all learners.

Accessible Interactions: Some interactions in Storyline are not fully accessible, or do not provide a good learner experience for assistive technology users. If these interactions are used, we provide accessible alternatives to ensure full participation by all learners.

Focus Order: We have customized the focus order of elements on each slide to ensure that content is presented logically and intuitively to screen reader users.
